Spain has mostly a warm Mediterranean climate, with dry summers and winters, mild weather all year round, giving you the opportunity to enjoy over 2800 hours of sunshine during the year.
In general you can usually rely on pleasant or hot temperatures just about everywhere from April to early November. In Andalucía there is plenty of warm, sunny days right through winter. In July and August, temperatures may reach temperatures as high as 95ºF inland and snowfalls in the mountains can start as early as October.
The best time to visit Spain depends on what your interests are. The ideal months are May, June and September; however, April and October is the best time for the South of Spain - when you can see the cities at your pace without the burden of the crowds and you can count on good to excellent weather avoiding the extreme heat of the summer.
