Spain - Itinerary

Day 1-Arrive Barcelona
Upon arrival in Barcelona, you will be met and transferred to the Hotel Arts Barcelona (A Ritz-Carlton property). Enjoy an afternoon of Shopping in one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan cities. Your private car and driver will be available to take you to some of the most exciting Shopping hot spots in Europe.

Day 2-Barcelona
This morning your driver will meet you in the lobby of your hotel where you will depart for a private city tour of Barcelona. Highlights of your day will include the astounding works of the modernist architect, Antonio Gaudi, a visit to the breathtaking La Sagrada Familia (still unfinished after 100 years), the monumental Bull Ring and the Picasso Museum. Tonight, your guide will suggest some famous seaside restaurants for you to savor early evening appetizers.

Day 3-Cavas Winery Tour by private helicopter
Today, after breakfast, your driver will meet you at the hotel for a very exciting private “helicopter” ride to the Cavas Winery. As we take off from the Helipad you will enjoy magnificent view of Barcelona, the city by the sea and the Catalonian countryside. On arrival at the Cavas Winery, enjoy a tour plus a delicious “Tapas style” lunch accompanied by some of the finest cava produced in the region. After this late, mediterranean lunch, your private helicopter will be ready to take you back to Barcelona where your private car will be waiting for you at the Helipad to take you back to your hotel.

Day 4-Barcelona/Madrid
This morning your transfer will bring you to the Barcelona Train Station to board the AVE Train to Madrid. Upon arrival you’ll embark on a private city tour featuring the highlights of this beautiful city and the Royal Palace. This afternoon enjoy some leisure time to shop or just enjoy an afternoon at leisure. Your guide can suggest some wonderful restaurants for dinner, perhaps the Casa Botin, one of Europe’s oldest restaurants. After dinner, your driver will meet you at the restaurant and take you to the Prado Museum, where you will have an Exclusive private tour conducted by the Curator of the Museum. Overnight at Hotel Ritz Madrid.

Day 5-Madrid/Toledo/Madrid
After breakfast, depart Madrid by private car for Toledo where your private guide will meet you. Toledo, a World Heritage Site is often called City of Three Cultures, referring to the era when Christians, Muslims and Jews lived peacefully together within its walls. The tour highlights include the amazing 13th-century cathedral, medieval castle and Santa Maria La Blanca Synagogue. You’ll also visit St. Tome Church, San Juan of the Kings and the Victorio Macho Museum. Lunch is served at a Parador overlooking Toledo’s beautiful skyline. Return to Madrid in the afternoon.

Day 6-Madrid/Cordoba/Seville
Transfer by private car to the rail station for a morning departure aboard the High Speed train to Cordoba. Your private walking tour of Cordoba includes the famous Mezquita, an 11th Century’s Mosque that was transformed into a Catholic Church and the Jewish Quarter. After lunch, board the train for the short ride to Seville where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. This evening your horse drawn carriage will await at the hotel to take you on a tour to see Seville’s illuminated monuments. Overnight at Hotel Alfonso XIII.

Day 7-Seville
Highlights of your private morning tour of Seville include the Plaza of the Americas, Maria Luisa Park, San Telmo Palace, the Golden Tower, Giralda and Alcazares. The afternoon is yours to relax, shop or simply wander these ancient streets. Tonight, after your “Tapas Hopping” dinner, enjoy a thrilling Flamenco Show – meet the troupe who will give you a private lesson in the art of Flamenco dancing.

Day 8-Seville/Malaga/Marbella (Costa del Sol)
A morning transfer to the rail station to board the high-speed AVANT Train to Malaga on the Costa del Sol. Upon arrival, your driver will bring you to chic Marbella, playground for the rich and famous. Remainder of the day at leisure in this elegant resort city. Overnight at Hotel Puente Romano. May we suggest: extend your stay in Seville and enjoy a day in Jerez de La Frontera where you will have a private visit of the winery, wine tasting to savor the Sherry wine, tapas lunch and a private horse riding Exhibition.

Day 9-Marbella/Granada (The Alhambra)/ Marbella
Your morning begins with a private drive through Andalusian scenery to Granada. Upon arrival, your private guide will take you on a tour of the Alhambra, one of Spain’s most celebrated monuments and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Conclude your visit to Granada with a visit to the Gardens of Generalife. After a morning of touring, lunch is served at the Parador de San Francisco, overlooking the Alhambra Hill. After lunch return by private car to Marbella.

Day 10-Marbella/Fez, Morocco by Private Plane/Marbella
After breakfast, your driver will meet you at the hotel for your transfer to Malaga airport, where you will board your private plane to the exotic city of Fez in Morocco. On arrival at Fez Airport your private guide and driver will to take you on a sightseeing tour of Fez, oldest of the Imperial Cities, founded in 790 A.D. Today, this city is the spiritual, cultural, and educational center of the country and renowned for its traditional crafts. Visit the quaint medieval Medina, the Karaouine Mosque with its roof of emerald green tiles and the splendid Nejjarine Fountain. After lunch at a traditional restaurant, walk along the winding cobblestone lanes of the ancient souk and to see the ancient Dyers Tannery. The view, not only memorable, will also enlighten you on the great influence that the Moors had on southern Spain. Your driver will then take you to the airport for your return flight to Malaga where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 11-Marbella/Malaga/Depart Spain
Morning transfer to the Malaga airport for your departure flight.
